We had a year 4 EARTH EXPO!.The earth expo is when we research a Human or natural disaster. I did EARTHQUAKES!. Other people did volcanoes, cyclones, thunder, tornadoes, mining , seasons ect.
I did a poster,iMovie and a model. I did a poster because it can explain your information well. And from my past experience I have always wanted to read the posters. I did a iMovie because a iMovie is always fun to watch. I did a model because I love seeing models and how people creat them.
My presentation went well. I was a bit nervous. But the people who came to my stand said they learnt more about earthquakes. But my poster kept falling down. But it is good that people learnt thing about earthquakes.
I learnt how to make your writing big so people can read it from far away.
Coach approach
This was a magnificent Friday because we had coach approach and this week is health and P.E week. It was really great and I really injoyed it.
Coach approach is when 6-7 good sports people come to schools and teach us how to play a sport. Today we had ultimate frisbee run by Claire, AFL run by Matt, we did hip hop run by Elvic, baseball run by Oliver, team work by Taylor and lacrosse by bray den.
In ultimate frisbee I learnt 3 things. To catch like a crocodile, when it gets windy go low and wipe it hard and the 3 things wip it grip it and point it. And with baseball they told us to spread you legs out and put your hand down low.
Somthing I achieved was in baseball me and Indi did 2 throws to each other the quickest. I liked all of them the same. But somthing I found difficult was in AFL it was hard do get the right aim to get the football in the bin.
Visit from councillor
Today Monday the 21 of Augast we had a wonderful visit from Cr Helen Radnedge. She was here to tell us about having a say because that is our inquiry topic. We invited somebody from the council because in meetings they have to say what they think should be improved things that they can add to our community and ways to make our community better.
Helen has been inspired by all the nature,wildlife and things that can help the Macedon rangers community. And because she cares about all the things that can help our community. And Helen does a lot of this to find out about our history.
Cinquain Poem
Today we did a cinquain poem. This was really fun and you got to try new things with it. This is a style of poetry. 
This is my important thing poem. This is not a type of poem but it is a way that a author did it. That was really good way. It also had a sercula ending. The way you did it was doing an 
important thing then do the details between it. Then you do the important thing again it was really fun.

My 3 way conference
Yesterday the 29 of June I had my three way conference. My mum came. Before it I had butterflies in my stomach and I felt nervous because it was my first time doing a conference. During the conference I felt a bit nervous but then I felt better and more confident. After my mum said she was really proud of me. I think somthing I did really well is that there were no spelling mistakes and everything was spaced out nicely. But I think I need to work on reading a bit slower and not jumbling up all my words. During in the conference. I felt a bit nervous but then I felt better and more confident. So I think my conference went really well there were things I did good and things I need to work on.

The Magic Flute Opera
Laaaaaa I here her singing really loud they stop and the doors open. Today Wednesday the 28 of June we wathched the magic flute opera in school. The magic flute was really loud the characters also projected there voice really well. There were 7 characters they were Sarastro who lived in a cave, Papageno who was a bird catcher, Papagena who was Papageno girlfriend, Tamino was a prince, Queen of the night who was mean, Pamina who was the queen of the night daughter and a serpent who tried to kill Tamino. I think the story line was they about saying the truth about many things you say. I really liked the part when the queen of night told her daughter Pamina that they had to kill Sarastro and then they sang a duet that was really good but really loud.
Jelly Bean Investigation
In the past few weeks we have been doing an investigation of how many jelly beens are in a jar. This is for a fundraiser that we’re doing at school. In the classroom we have been using different ways to find out the answers and get closer to it. We have been using multiplication arrays and my favourite was when we were using weight. First we found out how many jelly beens in 100 grams and 5 kg and we also found out that one jelly bean wieghs 3 grams.
